I Don't Wanna Grow Up

The technologies that we have created are doing our bodies a disservice. A great example is how many gyms have many circuit machines but no Olympic weight platforms and rubber plates. This is not a complete admonishment of machines, but this approach caters only to people who don’t know what they’re doing. Relying on machines propagates a myth of “Do a few of these, a few of these, and you’re done.” The industry is based on making you think that newer is better. It’s about selling equipment rather than getting results for the people using them.
